Michelle Moquin - Fashion Designer has been a creative force in the Fashion
Industry for over 20 years, living and loving the life of design. She
began her career as a Fashion
Designer, designing for San Francisco Bay Area companies such as Wilkes
Bashford, Jessica McClintock, Joe Boxer, and Byer
of California. After much experience working for
others, she decided to venture out on her own and designed under her own
label, ‘Michelle
Moquin’. She opened up her first successful retail clothing
boutique named ‘Bianca’, in San Francisco. With much success she decided
to market and sell her sportswear collection to boutiques throughout the
United States. Several years later Michelle was fortunate
enough to work in the film industry as an assistant to Academy
Award Nominated Costume Designer Aggie Guerard Rodgers on
feature films such as ‘Inventing the Abbotts’,
‘Jack’, and ‘The
Game’, for such legendary artists as multiple Oscar
winning director/producer Francis Ford Coppola and multiple
Oscar winning director
Ron Howard.
Through her costuming for film she worked with such famed actors as Golden
Globe nominated and Independent
Spirit Award winner Laura San Giacomo, Golden
Globe and Emmy award winner
Fran Drescher, and legendary Emmy
and Grammy winner
Bill Cosby and Oscar
and multiple Golden Globe winner Robin Williams. Michelle followed her film success by
launching a new line of Designer Sleepwear that began to sweep the Hollywood
crowd. Her designs were featured in the 2004
'Oscar Gift Bags For The Stars'. Recipients included such
stars as Charlize Theron, Marcia
Gay Harden, and Renee
Zellweger, only to name a few. They were also featured
on the television show 'The View',
and in such popular magazines as 'People'
and 'Family Circle'. Sharon
Stone has been known to wear one of Michelle’s hand spun
silk pajamas ‘out on the town with heels’! As a featured Designer Michelle
appeared on ABC
News ‘World News Now’: “PJ Party” target= "_blank", and was the featured
Designer for the 4th Annual Celebrity Fashion
Show “Fashion LA Style”. As a successful Bay Area businesswoman,
she also served as a Delegate representing the City of San Francisco and
the Fashion Industry, on United Airlines inaugural flight to Vietnam,
with the goal to build her business overseas. During her visit she secured
factories to manufacture her designs and successfully
negotiated a 5-year licensing contract, with a Multi-Million
dollar International lingerie company. . . . Home ..... About Us ..... Wardrobe Consulting ..... Policy ..... E-Mail Sign Up MOQ Designs, LLC (510) 428-1236 P.O.
